Mycosis is a kind of fungal infection carried by scorpions sometimes. Signs of mycosis are darkbrown, blackish spots on the tergites, legs and/ or sternites. If serious enough, scorpions loose infected limbs and can even die from mycosis. Especially the the spiracles of the booklungs are fragile.
1. B.jacksoni with mycosis spots on the sternites, pectines and near the spiracles
2. H.spadix, the basitarsus is is eaten away by the mycosis
3. O.dentatus with a bad mycosis spot on the patella/ femur
